    I'd take the dartboard any day.  Muscle memory  is much better than the crap-shoot of getting 63 single elimination games right.

    I'd say it's one of the greatest plays, or at least basketball plays. Lorenzo Charles' dunk is up there, and not much tops Flutie's Hail Mary.

    That wouldn't work, considering Laettner went to Duke and this bet would be between those fans, or perhaps UNC since they do play each other each season. I'll attribute this mistake to the education you received at Kentucky, so I won't fault you for it.

    Sean Miller had big shoes to fill when Lute Olson retired.  Basketball is religion in Tucson.  I respect what they've done and i don't know enough about talent evaluation to say whether he's had the goods to go all the way.  What i do know about U of A is that their hoops program has one title, a lot of tourney appearances and their football program is the only PAC 10 school to never go to the Rose Bowl.  As an Arizona State guy, that is always something we have over them:

    True story:  A couple years ago I had to pick my son up at  birthday party for one of his friends.  It was a pool party.  I happened to be wearing my ASU Sun Devil Sparky hat.  Well, one of the dads there was really being a jerk to me, ribbing me and i was taking it in good fun and keeping it light- agreeing with him whenever he told me how much better U of A was than ASU.  But, he went so far as to knock my hat off my head saying i should go down to Tucson to get a real hat from Arizona's only real university- U of A....even some of the other parents there were telling this guy to back off. I kept calling for my son saying we had to go.  This dad then asked me what my hurry was..Was it that I couldn't take the reality of him exposing how bad my university was?  I said, no, but that we needed to get going to Tempe and get to the team shop at Sun Devil Stadium.  "Why would you ever want to go to that miserable place?" he asked.  I replied, "We have to go to Sun Devil Stadium to admire their Rose Bowl Trophy.  If you'd like to see what a Rose Bowl Trophy looks like, you're welcome to join us."

    He shut his mouth, hung his head and had no comeback for that one.  The other parents there (many of whom were U of A grads) told him that they never witnessed a burn like that....
