Finishing up with a Raspado from Sonoran Delights.  Not a bad way to spend a 70 deg winter day.

Between last night and today, you're sure eating, um, healthy.  Inspiring.  Missed out on guero canelo last time there, couldn't convince the family that dogs were appropriate for vacation...then we had dogs at spring training games a few days later.  I'm not bitter.
Yeah, kinda forgot about last night.  I am trying out anti-resolutions this year.

Hotdogs, when wrapped in bacon, are always vacation food.

Careful about declaring your lack of bitterness. That shît will follow you around.
Good point, I toned it down a bit.

Just got back from second trip to ER. Herniated L5.  I can't put any weight on my leg.  Going to try to get into specialist tomorrow. Nothing like needing a walker at 42 years old. Long road ahead of me.

Good luck.  Hopefully the docs will be able to do something to help.

In such cold weather should I fire the egg up like normal or give it a couple hours to warm up gradually?

Fire it up just the same.  Just dress warmer for yourself.

You can dress warmer but you can also ensure your internal adult anti-freeze level is adjusted as required.  FWIW-

Bled the brakes through on the bike (BMW R90/6), got the glass out of one of the stove doors to replace it but need some fixings to replace the rusty ones, kept an eye on the pork shoulder and chicken in the Egg.  Getting dark now, time for a cup of tea.

I let the egg roll smoke at 275 for a good hour before putting these $3 jerk drummies on today.  Made some corn tortillas while it was heating up.

Just pulled some burnt ends off using a leftover point from my last brisket cook.

was originally going to use it for brisket chili, but was inspired by @DMW
