Thanks (you too DE). We have something similar here at the Depot but it goes by a different acronym, will have to check my notes Monday (off Friday tomorrow).kl8ton said:@Botch
Basically a .010" diameter wire (2-3 times the thickness of human hair) cuts (erodes) hardened steel to very tight tolerances (.0002" is standard tolerance but tighter can be held)
edit: now when i say it is way faster than our other three machines. . . when it is cutting, you can't tell the head is moving.“I'll have what she's having."

We had some extra beef that wasn't going to be used for anything so I made a quick snack. I made a couple burger patties and seasoned with Dizzy Dust and Ghost Pepper seasoning from Trader Joes. My wife picked up some apple cinnamon cheese from Aldi the other day. A nice change from the basic boring cheese that you'll find in most American fridges. My wife must have used the mini last week when I was out of town as it was sitting towards the front of the garage. The mini by far is the least used grill I own. I thought this might be the perfect opportunity to use the mini with the small amount of food being cooked and closest egg to the driveway. I tossed in some hickory for the smoke profile and had a nice little snack a few minutes later. Not much of a cook but was standing around the egg and had my phone with me.

We purged a tremendous amount of junk. We still have a tremendous amount of junk. My Beautiful Wife, keeps bringing in a tremendous amount of junk. It is madness. I DREAM of the day we live an uncluttered lifestyle. Uncluttered lifestyle=no chance in hell. Christmas decorations alone, that are never used, would fill up a dumpster.Acn said:

In my situation at least I can say that it is our home I am concerned about. I'm worried about having too many totes that we have to move to switch summer and winter clothes, or bedding. We have shelves to hold stuff on the wall, where we could have artwork or family photos.YukonRon said:

Volunteering at our Public Radio Station, WFPK. Working the graveyard. Doing the boards. Nobody listens to this station during this time slot, so If I mess up it won't be too bad. Only two people will know. Me and the miserable person with no life, listening.
"6th person that calls in gets the new Sting album" same person called 6 times. He got it.
He told me on the first call, I should have given to him, because nobody else is listening.

My brother in law picked up a Kamado Joe. Man that thing is impressive. Especially all the accessories that come with it. All I had to do tonight was eat. Prime rib, taters, mushrooms, and Texas toast. I showed him the t-Rex method for the steaks. If taking pictures of your own food is weird, try taking pictures of someone elses food they cooked! Actually my brother in law was doing the same.

They'll be even more impressive next year when they will come with a new top vent which will be similar in function to the Smokeware cap and a new counterbalanced hinge system. The dome can be opened with just a couple fingers and will stay in whatever position you leave it at - no more slamming shut if you let go.WeberWho said:My brother in law picked up a Kamado Joe. I just wish it had a screen over the damper.

The two larger KJ models have an ash collection system that has a perforated screen panel so no need for a separate sliding screen door.DoubleEgger said:I just wish it had a screen over the damper.
The KJ Jr. does not have the ash collection system nor a screen door but I have yet to see any embers jumping out thru the open bottom vent even when I have it opened all the way at startup. I use a KAB in my Jr. but I have no idea if that helps eliminate that problem.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
