We need a better separation of "recipes" from "forum"

This site has an immense wealth of recipes, but they are frustratingly difficult to find, especially old ones.  The reason is that very many people don't seem to understand the purpose of many of the categories of posts, so they misuse them.  In this category that's supposedly "Forum Feedback," for example, the overwhelming majority of the posts have nothing to do with forum feedback, but are about all kinds of other discussions.

Clicking on "Cookbook," for example, you'd think would lead to a collection of recipes, but once again, people post all kinds of discussions in the various sub-categories, apparently supposing that "Beef," for a specific example, is for DISCUSSIONS related to beef, not just beef RECIPES.

It means that to find a recipe, one winds up searching the ENTIRE FORUM, which leads to a crazy amount of hits, most of which have nothing to do with finding a recipe.

I would like to suggest that the forum software be reconfigured in a way that not only makes very much more clear what sections are for recipes and what sections are for discussions about various topics, but that makes it impossible to have a discussion in a section that's supposed to be for recipes only, perhaps by doing these things, among others:
  • In the "New Discussion" dialog, add "Recipes" to every category that's supposed to be recipes, and be rather stern about it in the top category, "Cooking."  I.e., Not "Cooking," but "Cooking - Recipes ONLY."  Not "Valentine's Day," but "Valentine's Day Recipes."  Not "Appetizers" but "Appetizer recipes."  Not "Beef," but "Beef Recipes."  Etc..  That long list then would have "Recipes" in ever title, and it would make what they're for much more obvious to the people who misuse them currently.
  • Make it impossible to post a reply to a recipe, or make them "Comments" on the recipe, and make those look completely different than just a typical discussion on the forum.
  • Provide separate search functions for discussions and recipes, such that searching for one doesn't search the other, and vice versa.
One of the great benefits of this very valuable and helpful web site is being really limited by this mixing together of discussion and recipe sections.
