I'm a lurker and always found this forum so resourceful that it changed how I cook for the better. I didn't care to post until I stumbled to this amazing accessory and just thought you guys would be interested in it. I decided to make a donation to get it and can't wait to try it out. What you think about it?

Bubble Burst. This was discussed sometime ago. Pretty sure folks that signed up on the original kick start campaign are patiently waiting for their product. My only curiosity that kept me from also ordering early was battery life and ability to withstand komado conditions. It'll be interesting to see the first few testimonial product reviews.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Same concerns as husker. But if it does work well ,would be good for rotisserie.

Yep, been a member since 2012 lol. Apparently. it is an overenthusiastic first post on my part about a certain product. I thought it is brilliant product with how it take advantage of the modern technology. I never thought about the battery life and it is a concern for sure. I think it can handle the big green egg especially the low temperature cooks. I'll likely just use it with the egg under 500 degree. I will share my experience with it and address the battery life whenever I get it. It stated that it will start delivering in March 2016 so I'll be patiently waiting for it.

I do think it looks like a cool product and the wireless probes would be really nice. Looking forward to hearing reviews.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Two things: I'll make sure topics that aren't about the cook will be tagged as OT and you will see my take on it whenever I get it especially to answer the battery life over something like brisket or pork butt/shoulder cooks and how it handles the bge. Thanks for the welcome and I'll be posting more.

Unless they've figured out how to mix batteries, electronics, and heat, I just don't see how this will work. "Insulate the probe with meat" doesn't seem like a good solution. i wish them luck.
