This forum is the best. No other is even close. It is because of the people. Since joining, I have received the most positively impacting expert guidance on all things remotely related to the BGE. As such, I have produced some of the most amazing food from these well advised cooks.
I have also been able to get help with my heat pump, water heater, rear differential bath seal, heal my dog, maximize my compost, have a better garden, heal my neighbors dog, how to deal with varmints, like rabbits (225F indirect, apple smoke, rub with garlic and onion, repair my flux capacitor, and build a hadron particle collider. You all are the best.
I made my typical smart ass remark on a post to @Biggreenpharmacist about saving me some of his jalapeño peach preserves. It was an envious remark, and I all expected in return, was him telling me "it sucks to be you."
Not on this day.
I received this care package, pickles preserves, sauces, and rubs. Massive amount of goods, for me to try out on the upcoming cooks.
I am grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the forum and I am grateful to have a friend like @Biggreenpharmacist and his kindness to ship this to me.
Just how freaking cool is this? Just a lot!

In addition to all the really 'cool' people that are on this forum, I think what I like most is the actual 'layout' .. I've been to other forums, and they sometimes are not that easy or fun to navigate - plus, it's a very active forum.I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

@Biggreenpharmacist - save me some of that Pappy Van Winkle 15 year.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
While I certainly am not innocent of hurling a smartass post outbthere or even trolling a newbie, but if I can really do anything to help somebody please just ask. If I am able, i'm
more than happy to help.Little Rock, AR

@YukonRon I use to frequent sports boards.....but no longer.... Reminiscing, I recall reading some of your early post while crossing the country side of France. One of the things that warmed me up to the form.....I think i am going to cry and have a moment. (Ok just bull shitting you about the crying.)
You did let me down when you didn't move to Denver. Was looking forward to a Red Rocks show, breaking bread and picking weeds out of your back yard.
edit - Nice score and send from Pharmacy.

There is another thing though, They don't call Kentucky the Blue"grass" state for nothing.
Feel free to come up for any UK/UGA event. Usually during football season that means the fall meet at Keeneland, Bourbon Trail and of course the libations necessary to make the fire pit enjoyable.
And my brother, we will break bread.
Red ede rocks is cool, but Louisville is very well recognized for a killer music scene, and NASHVILLE is a cool stop."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I took in a Carolina / Kentucky game a couple of years ago. Had a good time. I don't recall my business or personal travel ever taking me to Louisville. It well could be a stop over on the way to somewhere. I like good eats, and while my consumption is declining with age, i am not opposed to a libation or three.YukonRon said:
