@theyolksonyou post it here! That sounds excellent.
@Ozzie_Isaac that sounds phenomenal. I'm hoping to do a little fishing in SC this summer and catch something worth eating. Last fish I caught and ate was a steelhead from Lake Erie and I have to say it was pretty gross!Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle -

@theyolksonyou ... nice ... but, minus two points for the plastic chops (bamboo please) and the chunks of salmon (very, very, thin sliced please).
One of the expensive dishes in Japan was live fish. Don't know what it was, but was several feet long. They started with a live fish, cut something so it wouldn't flop around, skinned one side, and cut the flesh into chunks, but left the chunks still attached along one edge. Talk about fresh fish! It was only served at very big and important company meetings.

@jeepster47 atleast I took the little dude off the top. It's all I had at home. Just happy to find some decent yellow fin here in the carpet capital.

-
@jeepster47 - You definitely ran in some refined company for experiences like that. I'm sure it was a great time and appropriate decorum was observed across the board. Too bad for the decorum leash

@lousubcap ... I had an agreement with my Japanese work mates. I'd eat anything they ate ... at least once. After eating it once, I was free to pass it up at subsequent gatherings. Almost broke my agreement when a beating turtle heart wrapped in sea weed was delivered to the table ... I hate sea weed.
The folks where I worked had a great tradition. If the first party was going well, we would have an after party party. That's when things got interesting. We had one after party, after party party ... I don't think I drank that much alcohol during four years of college. Damn was it fun though ... sketches from that night showed up at my "returning to the states" party!

@Jeepster47 - gotta love those overseas assignments-gives you a whole different and more grounded (for me at least) perspective on life in the USA. It's not this bad . . .
. . . but about once a year or so, I actually pull and scrub the grates. I understand that the concept is anathema 'round here, but . . .
. . . I can't help myself.
