and the dog got the steak bone again. He's had a great week. Our new grocery store keeps running these killer prime bone-in ribeyes on sale. He hopes the price never goes up and god forbid they run a sale on boneless!

That looks great. I see the veggies in a bag...did you SV?LBGE & SBGE. Central Texas.

I did. A little toasted sesame oil and salt in the bag, then glazed and seared on the egg. Perfect texture every time and you can cook it and pull it off all at the same time.CPARKTX said:That looks great. I see the veggies in a bag...did you SV?

Dude, we need to talk to your boss and keep you at home more. You do good things (sometimes) when left to your own devices.
Great looking cook. Veggies were SV'ed at 185°F for a couple of hours? what did you glaze them with? And I'm disappointed that we haven't seen the yakitori glaze/marinade recipe yet...#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

onions- 45 min (I would do 30 next time)
Carrots- 20 min (perfect)
Asparagus- 15 min (perfect)
Glaze was good but could be better. That's why I didn't post it yet. Basically dark soy, mirin, sake, ginger, garlic, sugar. need to tweak the balance and then I'll post the recipe.
