High end rotomolded cooler deal.

Actually Wyoming's theft rate is not minimal compared to other states. It is about almost equal to the national average. About half the states have lower rates than Wyoming. Auto theft and burglary rates are lower making the overall property crime rate pretty good. It does seem though that if you leave things laying around, they will go missing just like elsewhere. So, keep an eye on that Yeti!stemc33 said:
Wyoming theft crime is minimal compared to other regions, but a high end cooler seems like it would be a high propensity to steal item. IDK..free beer that comes in a great cooler seems like it'd be hard for even the most honest youngsters to resist.theyolksonyou said:

Agree^^^^^. Sadly there are thieves everywhere and in all walks of life now. I don't know if it's the name recognition or what, but they do seem to target Yeti in particular. More so than any other brand. But the truth is, they will steal just about any of the high end ones. No matter which brand you have, it's a good idea to lock it down.jtcBoynton said:

There are a few of us at a nice resort on the Sea of Cortez flying kites. Yesterday, an individual onhooked one of my kites and was walking down the beach with it still in the air. I'm still shaking my head, 'cuz who tries to steal a 100 sq ft foil kite with an 80 ft banner tail attached from right in front of the resort with 100's of folks wandering around? Granted the value of the kite is more than a Yetti, but still ... what gives with some folks?

True, but it is hopeful to realize that property crime rates have been dropping for the last 25 years. They are now back to the levels they were in the late 60's. Of course crime is local, with some places better and some worse.SGH said:

Simple my friend, they are true liberals. They are to lazy to work. They feel that you owe them something. It's much easier to take something from a hard working and honest conservative than to get out and earn it for themselves. It's the very core of their belief to take from those who have. In their distorted mind, you owe it to them.Jeepster47 said:what gives with some folks?
No doubt about it^^^^^^. Here is something to just ponder when you are bored and have nothing better to do. Can you see anything that all places with extemley high crime rates have in common? Now for the record, I'm not implying anything. Do some careful study and research and just see if anything jumps out at you. You might just be surprised my friend. I will offer this. Those places are generally not over run with conservatives. Makes one wonder doesn't it.jtcBoynton said:

Guess I'm a bit bored today. Yes those liberal states of Arkansas, North Carolina, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Alabama lead the way in burglary. Texas, Washington, South Carolina, Florida, Hawaii and Alabama lead the way in theft. Nevada, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Washington and Georgia lead the way in motor vehicle theft. When it comes to murder, Louisiana, New Mexico Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee and Alabama lead the way with Mississippi and South Carolina closely following. Illinois, Nevada, Maryland, Delaware, California, and Ohio lead in Robbery. South Carolina, New Mexico, Tennessee, Alaska, Louisiana and Nevada lead in aggravated assault. Alaska, South Dakota, New Mexico, Arkansas, Colorado and Michigan lead in rape.
Yes it does make one wonder. I thought some of these states that turn out to be crime leaders were conservative places. Sometimes our perceptions are not backed by facts.Southeast Florida - LBGE

Like most people, you look but you don't see. Don't look at the whole state, but the areas where the problems actually are. A bright light should suddenly come on. The all something very much in common. You can not miss it unless you are blind or just simply chose not to see it. But enough about politics. Let's talk about something more beneficial and enjoyable. In an effort to get back on topic, here is a fine product by Yeti that I really enjoy.jtcBoynton said:I thought some of these states that turn out to be crime leaders were conservative places. It's things like the above that make you one of my forum favorites brother D. I couldn't have said it any better myself. Short but to the point, and leaves one wanting more. Well played brother.DMW said:I think I may have figured it out. High crime areas have more criminals.

I've been thinking some more on this topic, and high crime areas also tend to have more victims. Hmmm...this is getting spooky...DMW said:

Another valid point brother D. I bet if we keep looking we can find more things they have in common as well. But that's a discussion for another dayDMW said:I've been thinking some more on this topic, and high crime areas also tend to have more victims. Hmmm...this is getting spooky...

Mostly. They could have said the 45qt cooler holds 50 or 51 pounds of ice. Why only 40 pounds?SGH said:

"Dumocrats" (2nd grade name calling), Obama's a muslim, Monica Lewinsky, then pick on some black people (with no bearing on politics, I guess just to show you can hate on them by proxy because they did something criminal), then throw confederate flag in the mix. I welcome intelligent political discussion about issues. Don't mean to get all highbrow. So I apologize profusely. You guys are REAL Americans - anti-government secessionist patriots. Sure, Prius drivers smell their own farts, but I don't see the reason to hate them. They keep gas prices low by reducing demand. I get 13 mpg in my truck and 22 in my car. I'm the person they should be hating.fishlessman said:nola, its all about the HATRED
