Above is a screen shot of Stokerlog software on my PC. You can see the 2 food probe temp on the chart. I use 2 fire, (one at grid for blower control and one in the dome hole) and  2 food probes. This was 2 butts on my large.

@Hotch all I have at home is an iPad , doesn't seem to want to download there , I put the Pit Pal app that @NPHusker recommended on my phone, as I sit here and type this I guess that would work on the iPad as well

@fusionhq   any update on your Stoker II ?

You will love the Stoker II when it get's straightened out, would be on the phone every hour if I had too !

Mine does the same thing except says scanning probes but stays stuck there. , my instructions say to plug all 3 in...if I remove them it will go to the main menu...tried setting up wi if...doesn't really work unless I leave Ether net plugged in...called them and left a message . 

I'm going to say mine does not like the food probe, if I do 1 at a time, pit and blower boot normally, food sticks at scanning....sucks because I ordered an extra food probe I did not receive

I'm pretty patient I am thinking @fusionhq has the same issue...it is with the probes...hopefully they can walk me though the wifi...nothing came(Wifi instructions) with it, though it is posted on the web page...I can't read/watch YouTube at the same time on the same device I am trying to set it up with

Mine came last week and worked.  I had 3 food probes, a blower and a grate probe plugged.

Ok, not sure if you spoke with the...I sorted mine out. Unplug all probes, turn on....after it boots scroll to system info, hit select, scroll to Clear DB scroll to yes hit select. Power off, install probes and reboot....now if I can sort out wifi.


ill hold my breath until Monday...still has bugs..we will see what happens...time for a drink

You can't setup the WiFi from the LCD display, you need to web in via the Ethernet port to configure the Wifi setting if I remember correctly.

Great to hear that clearing the DB fixed your startup problem. I haven't had any troubles with mine, but good to know if my DB ever gets corrupt and it won't start up there is a fairly easy fix.

I'm by no means the expert that @DMW is but I should be around if you have any problems. The YouTube video that rocks put out about a year ago helped me get it going pretty easily.

Be sure and download the manual on Rock's site. There is a section in there about setting up the Stoker for WiFi.  After you configure it to connect to your WiFi( SSID, password,etc.) you need to make sure WiFi is enabled on the Stoker's LCD.  After that, pull your ethernet cable and reboot the Stoker.  Good luck.
