I know, this is a copy/paste from the Web UI. Also, the most recent FW they have posted on their site is from 2013. They would have had to do a FW rev for the new 802.11n module in the Stoker II. I wonder if it is only applicable to the Stoker II so they didn't publish it.

Okay.  I'll fire mine up this evening and report back my findings.  I want to say that I do know there is a change in the fan behavior during start up from what you, fireman_joe and fusionhq have observed.

@stompbox - Yes, their website is working for me.

Odd, wonder if it is now blocked at work.

    I get this:

    This page can’t be displayed

It will not work on regular IE --it would only work on CHROME for me

@DMW @DoubleEgger @fusionhq @Fireman_Joe @4Runner My apologies.  I didn't realize that there was a change to the Stoker product line.  I own the prior generation black box Stoker -- not the StokerII.  Thanks for your patience @DMW and for highlighting this detail for me.

Stoker WiFi 2 running 11.0.1.11.  When you turn it on, the plug on the fan flashes blue on and off real quick.   Then it goes through the boot cycle ending with a fant chirp.  This is different from my Stoker Wifi 1 where the fan would run. Regardless, mine does flash on initial power. I didn't have any other probes attached but I assume they flash as well.  As a good brother, my Stoker WiFi 1 went to my younger brother who also has a Large.

So, came home from work, and powered up. Checked all probes, moved them etx. Below is what I have from power in until an hour after. I have not plugged in with just one probe, per the startup directions. I will try that next.

Looks like a a problem.  Also, they recommend plugging and unplugging with power off.

Welp. There is the problem then.  Oddly enough, the site would not even show up on a Google search for me in IE when I started to wonder if I typed in the wrong address.

That is an odd problem. And I just verified that it does work on my phone Chrome.

Trying again now. Two lit probes. The pic is 5 minutes in.

Have you tried with nothing plugged in and getting the WiFi up and running without something plugged in? I can't remember if I had one plugged in or not for initial setup.

I have not. Just following the directions that came with it. Needless to say I'm getting a little aggravated.

Yeah I just went back and looked I'm 99% sure the only thing I had plugged in the first time firing it up was the internet cable

Oh not at all man just trying to help. I know nothing gets me going more than dropping coin on something and can't get it to work when I get it home.

@Scottborasjr sorry, didn't mean to come across like that. I now know the feeling of dropping coin, being ignored on back orders, and now a non working product. Just tried to boot with nothing attached, no work. Tried with Ethernet attached, no work. I'm afraid it's a bad unit. Disappointing at the least. Hopefully now I can get someone to answer a phone or email.

No reason to apologize to me. I'm frustrated for you. It just freezes on the "booting Stoker" screen?

No, it moves stars across the entire wording, then stays there forever. Should it take more than an hour?

No it shouldn't stay there more then a second or two. Maybe first boot took a little longer but nothing more then a minute or so

No, as @Scottborasjr mentioned, the stars are not normal. Call them and get it replaced, something isn't right.

I don't think it will take as long as you think it will. As Blake has said before they take care of the problems. I would be shocked if you don't have a fix or a replacement early next week.

Maybe a last ditch effort...  Have you tried unplugging from the wall and waiting for at least 30 seconds to a minute before plugging it back in?  (as opposed to just powering the unit down and up using the button)

Yes, and depending on how many food probes you have you could monitor more. It truly is the most expandable temp controller on the market.
