This thing is awesome and so is te forum.

I've had my large egg set up in a cedar table that I made for a little over a week and have already done three cooks.  I've done baby backs, a pork butt, and some ABTs.  All came out awesome.  I had a few questions about my pork butt that I posted as I was cooking early last Saturday morning and much to my surprise had some responses within minutes.  The responses assured me that all was well and the butt turned out amazing!  This place is cool and I know I have become an egghead for life.  Will try to get some pictures of the egg in its home when I get a chance.

    It is cool hanging out here.  I've only had my egg since Saturday.  I've done 3 cooks too.  And yeah - I had to ask the forum for help and within a few minutes I had a couple of responses.  It's an amazing place.  Welcome!

    Yeah, did baby backs for the first time a couple of weeks ago and started losing temp control.. These guys talked me down from abject panic and I salvaged my pretty tasty single rack test. Felt like I finally reached a major milestone at 58 lol. I'm on a number of gun/car forums and these folks are top shelf!

    @SGH,

    Reminds me of Megadeth's Symphony of Eggstruction.....

    Give him an egg to control

    Watch him become a god

    Watch creatures' heads a roll.......a roll........a roll"

    @grege345 I hail from North Dakota...the first cook I did it was 34F and raining and the Egg turned out awesome baby backs.

    Love that Maiden song.  But the name is actually my job description...please don't hold it against me...I actually have a sense of humor!

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.
