Grocery store had frozen canned Lobster meat marked down. I bought two cans but I can't decide what to do with them.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Lobster rolls - lobster meat cooked in burned butter and then into a top split hot dog bun.

Julie (Mainegg) on the other forum did an incredible lobster dip. Maybe Richard FL has the recipe.

My first response to any "What to do..." is ABT's. And that would be most eggcellent! FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Stuff it in a piece of fish? That might be good! Damn, that's a good idea. I may try it!

Canned & frozen? From where? Split it with the cat and make a dish with the other half that mellows out the taste of the lobster.

They do it right on The Canadian east coast. Fresh live, canned and cooked in the can. It's not like steaming your own but its not bad at all.

Lobster-cargot. Place equal parts of lobster into an escargot dish and top with enough garlic butter to fill each hole. Bake at 350* for about 10-15 minutes and remove from oven. Top the whole thing with havarti cheese and place under the broiler to melt. Serve with crusty bread for mopping up the butter and cheese. Really good stuff!!

Ding a lobster pizza on your BGE would be a great use for this product. Use your best dough recipe, make a basic white sauce add some paprika ans sherry wine to it to make a mock newburg sauce. Top with the lobster meat, drizzle with some drawn butter before serving.

However, on edit, there were some pretty good suggestions. Lobster mashed potatoes sounds pretty good.
