Hi Folks- Just wanted to get folks opinions out there regarding the cypress tables for the eggs. Are they pretty durable and do you have to stain/seal them? Thanks![p]Randawg

Randawg,
You have to seal everything, except pressure treated lumber, which I do't recommend for a BGE table due to the chemicals they put in the wood.[p]Cypress is bug and water resistant. More so than most woods. If you want to buy a table, youu get cypress from BGE. It will be good. But I'd still seal it once or twice a year

Randawg,
I made mine out of cypress and finished with with 2 coats of Sikkens Cetol Marine finish. It is the best, longest lasting exterior finish I have used.
