Biscuits and a breakfast fatty

Don’t know why I had a hankering for a breakfast fatty. It’s been too long since I made one of these.

Roasted peppers, and onions sautéed in lamb fat.

Didn’t have enough bacon for a full weave. So made do with what I had. Blew caliprince’s mind that there was such a thing as a bacon weave!

Rolled up a lotta eggs in it.

Dusted with DP Pineapple Head. On the egg for a spell.

Did the biscuits while the fatty was doing its thing.

Done!

On a biscuit, slathered with homemade peach ginger habanero jam, and a splash of maple syrup… goddaamn.

(The biscuit was not that much smaller than the fatty slice. Camera angle makes it look tiny).

Not taking any credit for the concept. Haven’t made this in 10+ yrs. Went down well with the cali clan, so looks like I’ll be making it more often

Dude,

You rekindled my interest in breakfast fattys. I have 2 working days left before retiring on 31Jul (vacation, knee replacement (again 🤬), and 8 weeks of rehab on the company dime) - these are definitely getting added to the “Want to cook” list.

That looks killer.

That is a meal I hope to make for My Beautiful Wife and I, July 14, her first day of retirement. Such a wonderful presentation of another off the charts cook, I always expect from you. The biscuits are the way to go.
