The screens? Yes. We have to. We actually have 3 of these 7 deck sifters per flour system. 2 in line, one spare. SQF certifications require food safety at the highest level. Foreign objects are a huge no no. We check softer tailings hourly. Any indication of an issue and we make a switchover. I got all 6 from a bankrupt bakery for the price of 2 brand new. They were in line for 22 months when they shut the plant down.kl8ton said:ColbyLang said:In line, blow thru flour sifter. 7 decks. Each deck has a mesh screen. One screen is busted. Guess which one? Lucky number 7 at the very bottom.
good thing we have a redundant one in line for a quick change over

I replaced my blender door actuator on my truck this morning. For something so stupid simple Ford makes dang near impossible to remove it unless you have little hands. I had to grind down a socket and extend the handle since I had no room with my hands. No pretty but I made it work.
Took me a little while to figure out what was going on when installing the new actuator. The post on the Dorman actuator was oversized and wouldn't fit like the original OEM part did. So after some sanding on the post it dropped right into position.
I have heat back in the truck!

Nice cheater pipe! I have a coffee can full of sacrificial sockets, last week I cut a 1/2” impact socket down and welded it to a track adjuster on my Toro Dingo.WeberWho said:alaskanassasin said:I love my belt grinder @WeberWho. I made it probably 6-7 years ago and use it all the time

Ten thousand tons of sweat and forty thousand dollars later and she’s going in the water. Part of me hopes that it sinks so I don’t waste anymore time or money 😜
Pictures in whatever order vanilla decides to deal them.

Way to go on the reno, @SGH. She’s a beaut. Was “Miss Marguerite” her original name, or is that yours, and if so, what’s the significance? Half expected her to the be “Glory, Glory, Trumpelujah”.

My old compressor finally kicked the bucket with a couple pin holes in the bottom of the tank. I saw this 5hp 30 gallon compressor pop up on Marketplace for cheap. I jumped on it. The seller was moving and wasn't willing to take it with. I paid him up and took it home. I'm not sure if the previous owner didn't catch it or somehow I caused it while loading it in the truck but I noticed the discharge pipe had a tiny leak in it. A replacement discharge pipe was as much as I paid for the compressor itself. So that didn't make any sense. I stopped over at my Dad's shop to see if he had any pipe to bend to make a discharge pipe ourselves. I was in luck. He had some extra pipe laying around and we formed a new one out of copper.
Here's a picture of the new and old discharge pipe.
I changed out compressor oil and added an extended tank relief valve.
I wish I was wired up for an 80 gallon compressor where I'd be able run a cabinet sandblaster but this should do for most pneumatic tools I throw at it. I got by on a 20 gallon prior.

No sir. She had 2 prior names. Originally and for decades she was Captain Frosty.GrateEggspectations said:Way to go on the reno, @SGH. Later she became “The Grinder”. Couldn’t find any photos of her bearing that nomenclature but that was definitely the name on her at one time.As to why I chose Marguerite, I met a young lady with that name almost 50 years ago. She had the most visual appealing anus that I have ever seen. A perfect star if you will. To this day that image is burned into my memory and haunts me every time I close my eyes. Thus it seemed only fitting to honor her in some small way.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

@SGH- great back story but you may be pushing the envelope of disclosure here. Enjoy everything the boat means and brings to you. Well earned.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. After and before photos. Had to clean out the speed Queen again. It was starting to smell. This is the inner drum. The outer drum was really nasty. Unsure of why this is happening. It is a top load. We really use minimal detergent. It's possible my son is using it for his detailing rags again. I caught him with one full load a couple weeks ago.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone
