Fortunately I'm into simplifying my life and I have enough brown water selections.  Now, if I could find some restocking options that would be nice.  🥃

I’m really not sure I see the value in a stockpile like that, unless you’re convinced a zombie apocalypse is imminent.

That being said, I’m open to arguments suggesting otherwise.  Please put them in the form of “can be used to convince wife”

@ColbyLang - you've been here thus you likely sorted out that exporting the juice stateside as well as overseas is the true moneymaker.  The allocation business is real.
Based on anecdotes from around the country I have bit better options but not by much and that is only for a few products.

Distillery only releases would be my friends if I lived there. Hit Michter’s and the EW Experience regularly and stockpile some brown water.

re the massive stockpile: one of my drinking buddies has an entire 4th bedroom that is wall to wall brown water. And that’s a lotta juice.

If I lived nearby I would be hitting up Woodfords on the daily to buy as much of the Double DO that they would sell me.

Regret to inform you that even if you live relatively close-unless you hit it just right...You would be wandering the bourbon wilderness.  But that's how it goes across the industry.

  • I’m assuming there will be an opportunity to buy all the US made brown water you want in the next few months as the export market dries up. Silver linings, I guess.

If $1B in Kentucky bourbon isn't being purchased by Canadians, who do you think that hurts the most?

As for the K-Cup thing, do you have a source for that?  Or are you just making stuff up again?

I'd like to see something done about the Canadian Geese immigrating to the US.  It'd be ok if they went back home in the spring, but once here they stay year around.  It's time to start revoking their visas.

without a solid metric, its really hard to say..but if I'm a business relies on those sales in CAD, i would imagine the small business owner..

either that or CAD's secondary bourbon market prices went way, way up..

the K cup thing i heard online, but it will be very interesting to see what DOGE uncovers..

As someone who hits up multiple LCBO stores at least once a month, I can tell you they never seem to have anything good. Typically I see Makers, JD, and a couple other lower end offerings.

I have better luck hitting up the duty free store on the way back south.

Spirits can only be purchased in the Province owned/operated LCB stores (ie: LCBO - Liquor Control Board of Ontario).  Beer and wine are another story.

It looks like the bubble wrap story is crap too. Just posting random **** from the internet is a waste. As for coffee at the IRS, they have 90k full timers, so do the math and figure out what that monthly cost is per person and then decide if that's wasteful and worthy of screaming into the abyss. Or maybe they're not allowed to have coffee, coffee is for closers.

I will say, it's no surprise that we're getting misinformation and at best a biased look at what musk is doing with those teenagers. Tearing things down in the name of "rooting out waste" to the point that essential parts of our government can't function, that's not a win. Don't be surprised when musk ends up with the contract to keep the lights on with no other way to do it.

I expect Trump, Musk, et al to hold the country, government, businesses hostage to get what they want.
