Anyone else's EggGenius down?  Says service unavailable.  Can't log into myflameboss.com.

Turkey is on the Egg.... HELP!

    My flame boss is working fine, but I’m using WiFi … edit , I just checked the .com and unavailable, I think this happens most holidays… use it locally and carry on

    Issue is I can't locally.  App says service unavailable and is blank.  After a while it gives me a timeout message

    It really wouldn’t cost them much to spin up additional web resources in AWS to handle their holiday demand.

    If there's a pony in this room full of poo, let me say that I'm grateful for the fact that the EG retains the last set point for the pit temp. At least I can cook, but can't read the meat temp. So eggciting.

    You can use the FB as an access point (google the manual). Otherwise, it can be used as a standalone controller, by setting your cook parameters directly on the controller (at least you can on my old FB200).

    Good afternoon, i am new to the green egg and have tried a few cooks with the genius and most all came out great, two weeks ago i bought a turkey and had a trial run and all came out great, so today i have family coming over because i raved about a smoked turkey and like above i could not get the genius to work..so back to basics and manually controlling the temp..so far so good but in the mean time i found out that i can connect directly thanks to this site..I was ready to pitch the $300 genius out the window, I really wish it was noted in the manual that cam with the genius..back on the genius...have a great Thanksgiving all
