Curly Dog With Corn Relish (inspired by Jacques Pépin)

After the disappointment of not winning @Ozzie_Isaac ’s September BBQ Showdown with my microwaved corn relish hot dog entry, I decided to move on and explore new horizons.
@lousubcap recently shared the original Jacques Pépin chicken galantine deboning video that I was originally using but lost, thanks for sharing again: https://jp.foundation/video/deboning-a-chicken-for-galantine/
I checked other videos on Pépins’ website and came across this gem where Jacques shows how to transform hot dogs into curly dogs and top them with a pickle relish.: https://jp.foundation/video/curly-dog/
I took some courage to post again after the humiliating defeat, but here’s my take on Pépin’s Curly Dog with my own homemade corn relish:
Happy Friday everyone! 😂🤣

I did not read the recipe. Is that the lettuce a low carb substitute?

I love hot dogs. Honestly, microwaved hot dog was just to elevated for this crew. We didn’t know how to handle it.

@paqman - your skill set always comes thru but I thank you for the curly dog link. That is priceless.
I may have a chance to replicate. I will definitely give it a go.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

We watch the occasional cooking show and the Pépinator has featured prominently in episodes we’ve seen recently. No hot dogs though.

The dog eating story as best as I can tell originated from Akron Ohio where a Ohio lady stepped on a cat and started eating it. I am not sure how far that news has traveled. I live probably 20 miles from Springfield and had no idea so many Haitians were being placed there but I rarely travel to that area.South of Columbus, Ohio.
