I've asked this question in the UK (they didn't know, but said they would honour warranty claims if someone moved Eggs to the UK) and emailed the mothership (no response in over a month). This assumes that the Eggs get to Canada in one piece, of course, but if they don't that's an insurance claim.

I've owned my first BGE since 1996 and have moved abuncha times since then, including putting all 5 eggs in storage for 4 months, just this past year. Never have any gotten broken or damaged in a move. Moving sucks a big one, but your eggs will likely be fine. Read the riot act to the movers and/or tape caution instructions to your eggs. Try to look at the big picture and get the move over with. Start drinking all that wine out of your wine fridge!! Best of luck to you!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Warranty claims must be made through an Authorized Dealer or Distributor within the original country of purchase.
So, you might have to file your claim in the UK. Seems dumb.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -

We’ve got all the monarchy we need in Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon - seemingly much more tranquil than her predecessor Julie Payette, who had a tumultuous stay at Rideau Hall.I wouldn’t have thought the warranty would be honoured (you’ll be able to continue to spell this correctly even after your move 😉), but looks like The Buff One has corrected my understanding.Years back, when I had a used and non-warrantied Egg, a dealer had mentioned helping me out in the event of any claims if I purchased accessories and such from him in the interim. Never had to avail myself of his offer and eventually replaced my used BGEs with new ones.

Agree with selling and repurchase. However, if breakage insurance is not significant and you want to keep your egg(s) for sentimental reason may be it's worth pursuing the warranty?
I know BGE Canada features eggheads' cooks in FB regularly. Perhaps if you can get their attention and showcase your blog and amazing BGE cooks, they'd want to work with you as a brand ambassador? Heck, they may waive the warranty bureaucracy or even give you free eggs-----------------------------------------------------------------------

@The_Buffalo I reached out to BGE Canada. They responded by quoting the paragraph of the warranty whereby warranty claims must be made in the country of purchase. They did offer me a "Compassion Warranty" though, which is 50% off the list price of items.
Only other thing I could think of is that I would claim in the UK and the UK informs Canada to ship something but that seems like a lot of hassle. Assuming that would even be a thing. A shame but there you go.-----------------------------------------------------------------------

If the buffalo says you’re good you’re good. Obviously you have deeper rooted hesitations about moving to Canada and that I can understand. Let’s address the real issue.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Must be a dealer thing, I picked up my egg in the US and have no issues here in Canada as well as others I know. My original dealer no longer sells eggs in the US though, maybe that's why I got lucky? I saved 50% on my large buying in the US so it was worth the risk
