Not sure, 8-10 lb ham and couple of pounds of tenderloin?

XL BGE with cracked base and no mesh screen.

No vegans in our house for the holidays this year, so probably skip the tofu.
    Love you bro!

Easy Savory French Toast with cherry tomatoes and pesto on white plate

Is that a savory french toast, or sweet? Deets, please.
Savory, splash of vinager or lime on the tomatoes
I'm in. I didn't find out that french toast was usually sweet until I got to college.

always been sweet til about 10 years ago. in the land of maple syrup its even whipped into the butter in some places, topped on a dinner roll and served with a clam chowder

Well it's going to be vegan because our nephews will be visiting.
No, they can bring their own and add to the dishes, take responsibility to that choice

Well we've taught them some decent skills, but, yeah, no.
There is no shortage of recipes for tofu blocks marinated, glazed, baked or grilled to be meat-like.  I haven’t tried any, but that’s something.

Sweet potato and black bean enchiladas.  African peanut stew.  Various vegetable lasagnas (although not really a fan of the cashew cheeses).  We will probably have a pizza night.

    There are options.
I've been thinking of sweet potato lately. It's underconsidered in my cooking. Had some sweet potato cornbread the other day, and it was delicious.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Actually I am making at least 6 loaves of bread to give away to neighbors.  Likely using the egg to do it to keep oven free whatever SWMBO wants it for.

I'm not cooking the "big meat" this year partially due to a venue change. We just discovered that it will be lasagna at two parties on back to back days. I'm fine with that.

If the egg isn’t frozen shut by the cold snap that is slated to come through I’m going to attempt bone in prime rib the for the adults and a small boneless ham for the kiddos.
  • Apple jalapeño sausage Bundt goes on at two or in an hour. Cream cheese jalapeño corn goes in the slow cooker at 5 am.
