Why do you think that would be?  Answer for everything - no. Has the acceptability of hate gone way up?  Yes.   DJT is an opportunist.  I really don’t know what he believes in other then lining his pockets.  I don’t think he has policies HE believes in, but he will do what brings money to him.  He played the American public like a fiddle - tell them what they want to hear.  Have you noticed in everything he says there is a winner and a loser?  A good guy and an enemy?  Also a hefty dose of threat and fear - this is going to be taken away, or the world is going to catch on fire if you let those losers win?

Does this make sense for someone leading our America?  Half of us are right, the other half are evil and will kill you and eat your babies if you don’t vote for me.  He speaks of half the population as the enemy and he’s got a lot of people believing it.

There is no greater hate than what comes from the left….How did Trump line his pockets? He worked for free as President. He probably is the only modern president that lost money after leaving office. He wanted to stop illegal immigration. Not legal immigration. He wanted American companies to invest in America. He wanted the UN to pay their fair share. He wanted lower taxes for us and companies to be competitive in the world. He wanted to end unnecessary wars. He warned Germany and other countries to not become dependent on Russia and they laughed.  He brokered peace deals. He wanted American energy Independence. When the pandemic hit he cut red tape and allowed a vaccine to be developed in record time. He worked with private companies to get medical supplies and ventilators made. Although Biden soon started taking credit for it. 

It doesn’t take a genius to see America was stronger here and around the world under Trump. People like you hate him for his personality and would rather see us collapse under these left wing policies rather than see the country prosper. Defund the police. Open boarders. Attacks on our domestic energy. Hell, the democrats can’t even tell you the definition of what a woman is. You’re allowing the AOCs take over the party and then you want to blame Trump when we start going down the crapper. Oh yeah, 9.1 percent inflation. I’m sure Biden is about to turn all that around soon….He’s better at climbing stairs, reading a teleprompter, and riding a bike than running the country.

Dude, when you vote for people that implement leftwing socialist policies you are responsible. Trump was America first and y’all hated him for it. He got us in better trade deals as well. He made our economy much better. If you don’t like the things I mentioned then stop voting for the very people that are doing it. The democrat party has gone off the rails. When you allow men in women’s sports and will not even say what a woman is, that’s a great indication of how woke they’ve become. They want the Green New Deal that’s literally impossible and will crush us as a nation. You are responsible for the vote you cast. I said it before on another thread, you may have missed it.  You’re not going to get the same cultish following for Biden that Trump has.  He was elected (yes, elected) in large part because he is not Trump and he represented a chance to calm things the fahk down in this country.  He did not have a divisive message, he represented decades of bipartisan governing.

I don’t want him to run, he’s not what we need to move forward in this country, he’s a palate cleanser that inherited a bag of shjt and hasn’t had the ability to make much progress.  He’s not the guy, but neither is Trump or his divisive ilk.  This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that is not stuck in an overly simplistic us vs them worldview.

It’s the extreme views that will tear this country apart.  The idea that one party or ideology will and should eliminate or completely dominate the other is the antithesis of what we should want.  Checks and balances exist in our government formally and in society informally by allowing and encouraging different opinions.  Winning is moving forward together via evolution and compromise and growth.  You have to let this us vs them virus go, it’s eating lots of people’s brains.

And if you’re going to judge Biden by his speech miscues and his stumbles, how did you judge Stephen Hawking?  You can google him if you need to.

I am not hiding from any responsibility.  I voted for Biden, I thought he would be the better choice at the time.  Now I know that was right, I just didn’t appreciate how much control over some people Trump would continue to have.  I wouldn’t vote differently today in the same election, but I might even vote twice or have the Italian satellites change your vote to mine.

I didn’t vote in 2016, I regret that, but I couldn’t stomach Hilary, felt we needed to change direction but couldn’t believe in Trump either.

We need two, totally different candidates in 2024. No Trump, Biden, Bernie, Cruz, etc.  We don’t need proxies for them either.

I will agree that we need totally new candidates on both slates in 2024. Trump would be too old to potentially serve 8 more years, leaving aside any other reasons. Biden is already too old as is Bernie, again not getting into any other reasons.
