Just learned that 55% of the OB-GYN drs and clinicians in Idaho have either accepted, or are actively looking for, jobs in other states.  
Some very interesting within-US-border mass migrations coming up in the next few years (I've also read that, in general, there's been quite a larger movement from Blue to red states, overall, thanks to on-line working and housing costs).

Some of the OB-GYN units in states have been essentially wiped out.  All of this is a mess.

Before Roe v Wade, there were underground networks providing abortions to those that needed them.  One of the most infamous was Call Jane in Chicago. There's a good movie about it that came out last year, it's fictionalized a bit (not a documentary), but it's a good watch with a good cast.  It's on some of the streaming services.

Ayy Yo way to go Ohio!

Democracy at its best.

Ohio issue #1 voted down 70-30 without the largest blue counties yet to be counted.

It shows the people do not want to change the way to amend the current constitution, 100% about reproductive rights, (according to the Ohio Secretary of State) and it shows just how out of touch the GOP majority is out of touch with their electorate.

This is a major signal in the direction emerging in the USA.

I learned from one of my sources today (not yet confirmed) that the votes against Issue #1, among Millennials and Gen-Xers, was 92%!!  These are the kids who will make up over 50% of the voting block in two years.  
That source once again offered a nugget of advice to the republican party:  

Move Left, or Get Left.  

Any surprise that they are now trying to raise the voting age to 25, or 30?

COMING SOON TO THE DOCKET — “The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday ruled that access to the abortion pill, mifepristone, should be sharply curtailed, ramping up the legal threat to the most popular method of ending a pregnancy,” Alice Miranda Ollstein reports.

What would change: If SCOTUS allows the ruling to take effect, it would overturn “rules allowing online ordering, mail delivery, and pharmacy dispensing of the drugs. It also would roll back access from the current 10 weeks of pregnancy to seven and would reimpose a requirement that only physicians can prescribe the pills.”

The timing: “Despite the appellate court’s ruling, there will be no change in how the pills are distributed until the Supreme Court revisits the issue, likely in 2024 or 2025.”

How sad that approach is.  When you get your a$$ kicked you are just trying to get anything to stick.  And too many voters will buy into it, especially the acolytes.
