That thing looks sweet, fingers crossed you whip up a stand alone thread and review after you have some experience with your new toy.

We made The Kogi tacos: 24 hour kalbi marinated wagyu flap, homemade corn tortillas, homemade slaw and salsa verde.

We also made pork and veggie dumplings (all from scratch).

And lastly, sourdough guachujang  scallion pancakes from our starter.

Several homemade dipping sauces and chili oil as well.

Cocktail is a chamomile infused French75

    Everything was really good.

And here we met at Loro!!  =)  (JK) What a spread, congrats across the board.
    That is perfect!
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
  • @The Cen-Tex Smoker Looks like a World Cup spread more than meal fit for the Super Bowl. Either way, amazing! I made halibut tacos and cauliflower hot wings.

Agreed. We didn't really make it for the SB per se. We watched the Roy Choi (Kogi guy) Masterclass this week so we wanted to try some if that. Then it just kind of got out if control after that ha ha.

If we are being 100% honest here, i pretty much drank,  grilled the steak, and did the dishes. . Janell did the heavy lifting for sure.

Ha ha Ron. No need to feel embarrassed. It was just us. We like doing fun stuff from time to time. it wasn’t Super Bowl related at all. Janell did almost all of it. We haven’t posted any good stuff lately so I thought it would be fun

Thanks, took a while for the egg to get to temp and maintain. Put the brisket on, went play 18 holes of golf and froze my ass off. Came home, brisket at 170. Wrapped, back on till nice and jiggly probing like butter. 203°. Excuse my ugly ass for being in the picture

I will have to.  I am waiting on the stand from Fedex (long story), but did cook about 8 pizzas yesterday and they were really good.  I have lots of Roccbox/Ooni experience, so I didn't expect a huge leap.  The big thing I learned here was how much more even the stone heat was across the whole oven.

  • These are my kind of wings.  I could eat a dozen of those.  Probably two.
