What’s on everyone’s Super Bowl menu this year? I’m doing a 9# butt today. Tomorrow will be sausage balls, bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños & chicken wings. May add a few more items since both eggs will be going.

We are going super simple and egg free. Spinach artichoke dip and pigs in a blanket. I’ll whip up some homemade yeast rolls for the blankets~ John - Formerly known as ColtsFan - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

Just prepped a small (8 lbs post-trim. Knew I was gonna trim a lot (2.8 lbs) but didn't need a larger one) Costco prime brisket for tomorrow. Wet aged for almost three weeks. Hadn't done one since early January so the SB offered a good excuse.
Also helps that I really don't have a solid rooting interest in either team although Cincinnati is the lesser of the evils. Hit or miss on the commercials during the game (catch 'em on the internet Monday). No clue about the half-time show.
Edit: started a poll on the OT section-"Should the SB be played on Saturday?"Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Mine has been on for about 4 hrs now. Should be finished in time for dinner tonight...

Brats!

Smoking chicken quarters and then making what I call chicken bombs. (Chicken breast pieces stuffed with bacon, cream cheese, cheddar, and roasted jalapeños. Then I'm sure we will have some potato salad and dessert.

Super Bowel is an excuse for us to eat a bunch of unhealthy stuff we don't normally eat, but want to.
Toasted Ravioli, mozzarella sticks, shrimp scampi, wings, and stuff for making nachos. -
Birria, skillet queso, little smokies. What are vegetables?
-
I have been saving a package of wings. I feel pretty smart since there are none to be found anywhere.
Poppers, stuffed mushrooms, and guac to go with tomorrow.Clinton, Iowa -
Smoked queso, spicy drumsticks, shrimp cocktail and various cured meats and cheeses. Too bad chicken wings require giving up an appendage.🤷♂️
-
We were a group of six but we’re down to four now so we’ll probably scale back some. Smoked queso, moink balls, and a charcuterie board of meat and cheese will still be on the menu but we may freeze the chicken wings for another time.

I'm attempting porkbelly burnt ends and chicken bombs stuffed with goats cheese and sausage, wrapped in bacon and slathered with sweet baby rays. I did a test run on the chicken today before I feed it to "people".

Well, Sir...traditionally SBS has always been something quiet here for my Mrs, our Westie and myself.
I'm starting with Bloody Mary's. Then a brunch "skillet" of fried eggs served on a bed of hash browns smothered with sauteed sausage crumbles and diced green pepper and of course buttered toast.
Then since ALL that is a filler I will serve us some homemade fudge that Ihave made every year for Super Bowl Sunday's for maybe 40 years.
Then for supper I will serve my kick butt chili!

Change of plan. Decided to ditch the roast leg of lamb and will make a shepherds pie which can be eaten on our laps during the game and much less hassle!! Enjoy the game guys.Greensboro North Carolina

Going simple: Jalapeño/cheddar sausage and a T-bone. Likely won’t even watch the game, NFL is doing some squirrelly things IMOLBGE, 28” BS, Weber Kettle, HCI 7.8 SE Texas

I cooked 10 wings for pre-game. I invited all of my neighbors over to see them on the grill, then told them to go the Frick home because I wasn't feeding them the expensive stuff!

Give them another hour and add more fat
