@JohnInCarolina is the forum destroyer and thinks he is better than most because of his degree in solving innate math problems.

    torpedo ahead...

wtf is an "innate math problem"?

you need to flip the word-a-day calendar for it to work.
I am going to assume he meant inane, which is also inaccurate, but at least makes sense as an attempted trivialization of one's chosen profession.

My thoughts on the word "assume".  Not that they matter a lick,
"The word I have wanted banished from the language for longer than I can remember is "assume".  It is a cop-out that facilitates the user.  It is an enabler, interpret things as you want/wish them to be.  And that interpretation is likely not the true reality and certainly will skirt the tough issue that, in most cases will include a potential uncomfortable situation or scenario.  Thus the "assumer" shirks the responsibility of pursuing the correct answer.
    That's all I've got-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

BTW- why the drive to torpedo (fired a few of those) the thread on the Buffalo's National Day?

  • It probably has something to do with “chaotic theory”.
Is “Chaotic Theory”  the current GOP-concocted existential crisis? The gReAtEsT tHrEaT to tRaDiTiOnAL aMeRiCA of oUr tiMe?

Everyday should be National Buffalo Day.
I did a little reading and yesterday was also National Deviled Egg Day, All Souls Day, Day Of The Dead, Plan Your Epitaph Day, Melbourne Cup Day as well as Election Day.
I prefer National Buffalo Day over the others.

Unfortunately there is not. But things might be shaping up. There is a National Anal Day.

    There's a difference?
The word anal is an adjective, the word anus is a noun.

All this talk of orifices....  Sometimes I think Scottie has some kind of aphasia where he's confusing "anus" with another hole that gets a lot of attention.... IDK

The Buffalo Bill Days were cancelled for 2021. Hopefully, they will resume in 2022.
