Photo Loading Issues

Dear @The_Buffalo I would like to call to your attention that the most of the photos that are loaded onto this forum are inadvertently being spun 90 degrees. This takes away some of the charm of what would otherwise be beautiful photos of BBQ.

I know it is an issue, but I don't understand why it is only some photos.  Phones?  Format?  It is very frustrating to keep tilting my monitor!

I agree it needs fixed!

I load pics from a desktop and they seem to come out correctly oriented-that's all I can offer.

I have no idea.  I thought nothing of it until your question.  I just put in the drinking fountain the same way the old one was from 1979.  It is outdoors.  I now understand the difference.  I get inspected yearly.  The inspectors aren't doing their job if they don't find something wrong.  Maybe this will be this year's issue.  It will be a heck of a lot cheaper than last year's issue.  Last years issue - pool flow meter only goes up to 110gpm.  I am supposed to be running at 112gpm according to new guys calculations.  We never used to have a pool flow meter until one inspector told us what one to get.  We put it in, he was happy.  New inspector, new issues.  It was time to replace pool equipment anyhow.  We will replumb with 3" pipe everywhere.  Currently it necks down to 2" to go into the sand filters and the heater.  Too many 90 bends.  Good year to switch to salt with chlorine shortage.

Mine almost always post correctly and I’m posting iPhone photos from my iPad Pro.  The occasional side pics seem to have no rhyme or reason, and I’ve tried editing the photos to no avail.  However, Google found the below suggestions from another forum:

I can't tell if my food pix are posting sideways cuz they all end up being invisible anyway.

See if taking a picture horizontally vs. vertically helps. Horizontally seems to work for me but IDK!

What has been working for me, since I log in on iPhone, is using the iPhone sideways to take the picture and making sure the camera lens/flash is “high” edge not “low” edge. 

So for my model iPhone that means, when holding the camera to take a pic using the rear camera, the front facing camera is on my left and the home button is on the right.
