More like the Georgia Mountain Superspreader Fest, right fellas?
This eggfest is a big boon to our small community and we're trying our best to help. Stay home if you choose to, but, don't try to be a spoiler.
With sincerity, and respect for your intentions, I don’t understand this reasoning.

Some people are living life normal as possible. Not living in fear. Some people are living in fear. Living their lives far from normal....
Can’t upload images, so words will have to suffice.

Of 515K+ dead, many “lived in fear”. Many didn’t. They died anyways.

I hope everyone has a great, safe, time.

A number of those who “died in fear” did so because others didn’t fear it enough.

I'd love to make it down there. Maybe next year! I've heard that it is a beautiful setting.

    Morning @Buckshot74

I've been to most of them & there has usually been between 90 & 120 cooks...I haven't talked with John about this year but my guess would be closer to the 90 than 120 for this year.

    Have a GREAT day!

What are the precautions? I'd love to come.
The only precaution is to use a little common sense......it's an outdoor event.
I'd assume masks will still be required?
    Optional, not required........

Then the same guidance also applies for the cooks washing hands after taking a crap?  Or is that somehow different?

That eggfest sounds awesome. The largest around here is around 40 cooks.

You should try to make it to Indy's Eggfest at Sullivan's hardware.. Usually 90+ cooks.

When you buy your tickets and register, do they ask where you’re coming from?  It sound like they might since I’ve read that people come from all over.  That could be a very nice contact tracing database if common sense doesn’t prevail.

    When is it?

Usually the last Saturday in August. They haven't announced the date this year (that I've seen), I think they are waiting on COVID

An audible (masking) would be a great call right now- Mea Culpa could go a long way as the reverse audible is not off the table since "to mask or not to mask" is a quick option.

    Let's TEXAS!
That is funny, but even school districts and others in Texas are now coming out with their own guidance saying nope, masks required.  When your government leadership isn’t being smart, you have to be smarter.

We have an event to cook at soon and I hope it isn’t a mess.   My wife and I have been talking about backing out as she is around covid + people way to often (daily at work) and I’ve been exposed a few times.

Starting to think I may be best practice not to attend as I’d hate to risk exposing someone.   It’s a hard choice and I do not even any business owner trying to work this all out.
