John…a troll trying to figure out another troll? Something about that is “not right”. Surprised that you would post that? I only have 1 account on here. No need to have multiple accounts, since I am not narcissistic or weird like the people that maintain troll accounts! I don’t need to pretend I’m someone else when I post.

Hello Third Railers.
I see we share turmoil at the top. Albeit yours revolves around yesterday's guy.
Our incumbent leader, the absolute definition of populism this week 'won' a confidence vote whereby 211 of his MP's said that unequivocally he is without doubt the optimal human to be leading this country. Of that 211, 170 had to vote that way to obey the rules of the voting process. So make that 41 MP's using their discretion and judgement to vote for him with no hint of threats, promises and deals - of course.
148 voted to indicate that they would prefer any other sentient being instead.
So what? Well - it's not great that to all intents and purposes most of your own party think you're a bozo.
As to conducting business, the Govt majority is 75 - so enforcing a party loyal vote means they can pass any legislation. But with 148 of your own team already saying 'meh, not for me thanks' BoJo faces even more choppy waters.
Luckily they are fresh out of good ideas to help the actual country, being too busy with internecine bickering.
The long term implications of living for the moment & saying whatever the person in front of you wants to hear are catching up with our artful distractor.
Which is fine, but to capitalise on this there needs to be an effective alternative. Within the party it's just more of the same and the opposition still can't quite determine what they are about. Oh and the top two from the opposition are also now under investigation for the sort of activity during lock-down that caused BoJo's latest brush with disaster.
Not entirely clear where we go from here; BoJo might just bumble on regardless - or, shore up his ranks through whatever means necessary, then announce a hatful of popular pipe-dreams and call a general election directly after the opposition leaders receive their fines for Covid, which they have said will lead to their resignation. And we strap in for another 4 or 5 years of the same after a win by default because there is no coherent opposition.
Happy Friday!
Other girls may try to take me away

You and HighHeat use a lot of the same words, so it only follows that you are HighHeat. Plus your ISPs are both in Kansas. QED, you’re a hypocrite.littlerascal56 said:John…a troll trying to figure out another troll? Something about that is “not right”. Surprised that you would post that? I only have 1 account on here. Happy Friday! To clarify that; It is a matter of public record that he denies the existence of some of his children. It is widely suspected that he has eight.Other girls may try to take me away

Well I was referring to his understanding of the first amendment. I'd like to think most members of Congress have had someone explain to them what it protects and what it doesn't, but maybe not.dmchicago said:

The Indictment alleges that between 2016 and 2019, Gillum and Lettman-Hicks conspired to commit wire fraud, “by unlawfully soliciting and obtaining funds from various entities and individuals through false and fraudulent promises and representations that the funds would be used for a legitimate purpose.”
Sounds recently, vaguely familiar, I just can’t recall where I heard something like this. Hmmm.

Seems even Fox thinks that "assault" (aka pat on the back) doesn't rise to a level of seriousness.
