I am trying to line up a Headliner for the evening.  I guess my offers could use some more "juice" to make it happen.  Onward and upward.

If you have missed gathering at a neighborhood local pub on a Friday night since covid rolled in, I assure you this is the next best atmosphere.  So, clear the calendar for a bit and give this Zoom a chance.
He!!, you exit quicker than walking out of a wrong turn into something not of your persuasion.  And for effect, "Trust me on this! B)"

Let's just make the password public.  Seriously....what could possibly go wrong?

Correct no one is on as it is only around 8:30 PM EST and I have to pound another adult beverage before gearing up but i can get thru that in short order-please stay the course!

And regarding the password-I liken the request for the password akin to asking for a nominal cover charge at an event.  If the event is "no charge but with RSVP" you get many who are "yes" until showtime.  Then no skin in the game-so no show.  Granted requesting the password isn't much to ask but it does imply a bit of a commitment-FWIW-

  • Looking forward to the almost 11pm eastern time frame.  Plenty of absurdity afoot in the general public which must be categorized by the alignment of social observations.  Most likely in a manner inspired by the Handforth Parish Council such as and so forth.

Speakeasy is open-A bit early but all CDC guidelines are in place and your personal bartender has it all together, or so I would hope!

Just now wrapped up a great evening.  Slow start but gained a lot of traction as the night progressed.  Thanks to all who shared their time tonight and the entertainment value that flowed from the conversations.  Always a learning opportunity.
    Until the next time-

In my opinion— the zooms are more enjoyable than the forum — and it’s not even close.  Really appreciate the discipline Cap employs to keep it as an option and all the folks that join.
I do know that I’m going to laugh my arse off, whenever I stop by. Last night was no exception!

And, yes, I’ve ordered a new mini tripod for my phone, because my phone kept fvcking toppling over last night =)
