I wish we could have visitors. I showed Suzy the last pile of shït I got for having people in our bubble we got from this forum. She was much more offended than I. When this breaks loose, I am going after @Foghorn, just to teach him how folks in Kentucky do the universes best wings. Well, ok. A guy came by and tried them and said they were a’ight. There is that. Should that mean anything. I guess.

Ron, the food looks great. I’m sure any small deficit in the food is more than overcome by your love of family and hospitality. Good wine never hurts either.
I think it would be great someday if folks can get together and debate such serious topics as who makes the best wings. That’s far better than what folks fight about now.
    Stay well and safe.

Forget the bubble thread...I can't believe that noone has given you shite about the box wine yet!!

The sauce for the wings sounds like the best I've heard of yet. But... I don't believe they were that good. You'll have to prove it to me...

I hate to admit but I’ve been cooking air fryer wings.... and they are actually pretty good.... I just toss them in for twenty minutes, flip halfway, and then sauce with whatever people like when done. Too easy.

Ron, yours look way better though. I’m coming to steal the rub.

    Two words.

    Bring it.

if/when you do, a great time will be had - with great wings of at least 2 kinds - and most of all great fellowship.

    Your sauce sounds incredible.

I should also add that you caught me at a good time in that I just made wings last night and for the 2nd cook in a row they were not up to my usual standards.  I've been settling for different/substitute ingredients.

When we finally get together, I won't make that mistake.

I am extremely critical on things most people never provide a whole lot of thought to, and wings, for this ADHD, compounded with OCD, (which drives me nuts that both are not ADDH & CDO alphabetically as they should be) is just one of many. These came out great, not perfect, however, they did not suck.

If you get the chance to try the roasted black raspberry chipotle sauce from Blues Hog, I totally recommend it. I added some honey, sriracha, and bourbon to it from a sauce @DoubleEgger had made and gave me the idea to blend together. Doooooood. It was killer.

Thank you for the kind words.

    Stay safe and stay well.

Thank you for the kind words and the data on the air fryer. Been tossing around that for a while in my mind (Sounds like a BB in a box car due to the amount of space not occupied by brain matter).

That rub is a mixture of a bunch of different sweet, spicy and savory rubs I have blended together from remnants that were just enough left over you just could not throw away, but not enough to use on the next cook, plus a a couple of real heavy shots of Tony’s. The rub is great, you just don’t need a lot of it, which took me a few times to figure that out.

The sauce was killer though. you might want to try it. I got it direct from “Blues Hog.” The modification was excellent as well.

Stay safe, and stay well my friend.

    @foghorn

I bow to the master. I am a hack that occasionally gets the right pitch to benefit my swing.

I certainly look forward to having a great time and sharing all I know, (about 5 seconds) and learning far more.

Stay safe, and stay well my friend.

I'm no master.  I'm a guy who stumbled across a great combination of ingredients one Super Bowl Sunday when I mixed partial bottles of whatever I had left in the door of the refrigerator.  Then I paid attention to experts on here and learned how to execute a good wing cook.

I know it. You know it. I did not win, but there will be no Riots or storming the Capitol. Besides, who can take another year of bitterness? Not worth it. Besides, we let him win the last one, because we like him so much.

I salute you Jim, for your kindness and grace, pitching in with the rest of us to allow him to claim victory. You are a great man and a great friend.

    Stay safe and stay well.

You are most kind with your words, thank you. I really have noticed a difference in the use of a raised rack, specifically in the carnage I have experienced going straight to the cooking grate.

Stay safe and stay well my friend.
