Be sure to get some Freedom Fries while you are over there.

From all accounts, it sounds fantastic, but I’m not sure I can imagine anything better than Basques or Maple Leaf.

Audi's display told me to replace the battery in my key fob.  Went to the dealership, told the Parts guy what I needed, and an Audi repair guy overheard me and said I could get a free battery from the Service desk (had paid for the battery last time); don't know why they have that discrepancy.
Anyway, as I was walking out I glanced into the VW showroom and There She Was: a VW id Buzz!

I didn't even have a chance to walk up to it before a newer salesman was down my throat, asking what color I wanted and did I have a tradein?  I wish that dealership would tell their green sales guys to relax and back off a bit (not even the second time that's happened there).
I did ask to sit in it while trying to fend off his questions; not exactly my beloved '77 Bus I had in Albuquerque!  Despite its size it was a little shy for driver's legroom.  Huge sunroof, that photovoltaicly darkens, kinda cool.  I know eventually I will be replacing my truck/convertible combo with some kind of single SUV; this really caught my eye when it was introduced but still quite overpriced.
Not to mention it’s made in Germany. That means no tax credit and likely a tariff. The local Stealership had a blue and white one but also had it marked up 8K above sticker.
I had to google the MSRP: around $67k?  Definitely overpriced.  VW is looking to make a killing on nostalgia.
They have slightly cheaper ones but they are a single color, usually solid gray or black. That kills the nostalgia, it looks like a delivery van. Another problem is it weighs at least 1400 pounds more than my ID4 but has the same size battery. As you can imagine the range drops.
Where’s all the extra weight from?

Awfully nice looking vehicle.  I looked at them for a bit before deciding to go in another direction.  That’s a great color!

    thanks.

A perfect replacement for the old Leaf. the colour is PPF protection. The car is black (as per the back and top). Having a lot of fun with it.

A bouncy house after the last one cost 400 for the weekend. 1600 for this one so it won't take long to break even. I bought a tarp as well. Anyone know why they typically are put on a tarp? Is it for ease of cleaning?

Would guess that, and maybe puncture prevention.

Nice, I'm sure you will find a million more things to do with it.
Picked up a slightly smaller Bobcat tractor a couple years back. Its amazing how many attachments are out there for these compacts. I had to build a another lean-to type shed to store everything.

If you are renting one, I am guessing that, yes, rental company has less cleaning to do.  Especially if they are bringing them inside and storing them on racking.  We drag ours all over the place on grass, use tractor with forks to transport, store outside, etc.  No problems so far.  Been running the same ones for over 10 years.

That's what I figured. Just easier to wash it down if needed and then store it. Bought two tarps though  :)

@kl8ton Swmbo wants a hot tub, I argued that we need a patio to set it on, so I have it dug out, have the pavers, base is compacted and ready for the screenings which I got from the quarry today.  The only thing missing is a step, I was going to sink wall stone and cap with bull nose but she wanted a solid piece and found that in the catalog.  16x60x6 it should be perfect to step off of our porch onto the patio

I guess I was curious why you chose that over Kubota? Assuming the terms were similar

Every year when my accountant does my taxes, she gets all disappointed that I have to pay so much to the state, and suggests I have more withheld from my pensions/incomes.  And I always tell her I might as well collect interest on that money over the year, rather than this church-state.
You would think a tax accountant would understand that...  :|
