I noticed this too. We buy IAMS 15lb bags every two weeks for our dogs. May it was $19.99, June it went up to $22.99, July $24.99. A 25% increase in 60 days? Really?!?!
Yes. Dog food manufacturers use many of the same commodities as I do. Simply put, their commodity contracts expired. They’re now paying higher rates. 25% ain’t nothing considering flour is up 140% over where it was July 21
My horse feed used to 14.99/80lbs.  Now it is 25.99/80lbs and not always in stock.

Great thanks y’all.   We recently lost our Bassett and my wife wife is now trying to get me to get a Bloodhound (which I want but will substantially increase food costs).   Maybe I can use this to leverage away for a year reprieve and apply savings towards bourbon.  Here’s to trying…

been buying blue wilderness for the dog, price is almost double over the last year. the duck version is 75 bucks now for 28 pounds but the red meat is at 96 for the same sized bag. it was shocking this week shopping at the petco. i believe he is going to see more fish in his diet plan

Bought a Plueger 3000 sized spinning reel, 300 yards of 15 pound braid, and had Academy Sports spool it on. They spoil it for free if you buy the line there.

Pflueger reels are nice, I don’t own any but have thrown them.   300yds of 15# braid, what species you targeting?

I inshore fish for specs, reds and flounder with casting gear.

Same species but sometimes a small shark or stingray joins the party. I probably didn’t put much more than 200 yards on the reel, Academy’s machine didn’t measure it. But I will tie on a fluorocarbon leader. Also I am close enough to drive to Gulf Shores AL and interesting things can be caught from the piers. I have some heavier rods for that. This one is a sensitive whippey Duckett rod in medium action 7 feet long.

@Canugghead - way to take advantage of the window of opportunity.  I suspect they will become Montreal Smoked Meat in the waning days of their lives and you have that operation dialed in.

Good luck, it's not a chainwide sale.
No Frills had this $4.99 weekly promotion two weeks ago,  this location was overstocked and decided to clear them out at 50% off. The best before date, overrated for beef, is Aug 18. One of them had a 'loosy' vac pack and it was additional 30% off, we opened it to repack and it was fine. They were also clearing full bunker of eye of round at $2/lb.

looks to be 3 times too high on your low end..at least for Georgia pricing..

I ended up @ $450/sq for 77 squares..that was a metal finish..a shingled roof was about half that.

Wait until they get up there and find rotten sheeting. You would think they are replacing heat shields on a space shuttle.  Ask around for a roofer from your friends and employees, its not rocket science.
