This is a cropped photo I took of myself.  But if my photos are violating a rule I'll stick to egg and food related posts.

I always wondered how they made the jeans with the holes in the knees.

Kevlar jeans with built in pads were a popular option at one point. As time has gone on kevlar has been replaced on higher end pants with some other type of material. I can't recall that particular material but all hidden within the jeans look.

Right now I'm wearing my last pair of kevlar "Sliders", that aren't available anymore.  They are shredding at the front kneecaps, but that's from gardening/lawn maintenance; I never got a knee down intentionally.

Thanks everyone.  Ref the hayabusa.  It's an unrestricted 2001 with a lot of engine work and spray.  This was just a regular road day entrance exit cloverleaf highway shot.  Ref the jeans.  I ride with full under clothing pads and Kevlar jeans.  I really didn't intend to bring it over so far but turned out good for the photo.  Ref photography used to carry dad's camera gear when I was little.  So in the blood I guess.

I think the rule thing was really just a joke.  I wouldn’t think twice about that.

The bike pic is awesome.  My only question is: what stops your jeans from getting ripped up?
You can buy biking jeans with built in armour / protection. Without that, the jeans would be less of a worry than the knee itself.

Koenigsegg is an absolute dream car.  Do you ever get to sit in the cars you photograph?  You have seen some absolute gems.

Beautiful car and setting. My neighbour has one of those Maseratis - it would seem that they are driven by great people.

@saluki2007 - you may want to forget to return it.
However, that pic does not look like I would expect in central Illinois right now unless you dodged a bullet.  Never mind the climate change palms.   =)

Dad got one of the first ones that hit the states. He really enjoys it and have driven it several times. It’s a blast to drive. Wouldn’t even know you were driving a SUV/crossover.

You are correct. My parents are renting a place in Naples FL for the winter so we came down before the girls start school back up. Haven’t been taking any pictures but have all kinds of beautiful vehicles.  Dad’s car doesn’t turn heads down here.

Nice!  I would have skipped dinner and just driven around all weekend.

You got that part right.  Just got back from FT Myers Beach and Naples.

Maserati vehicle sightings there are as frequent as Buick Enclave sightings in my area.

My drive to the airport was great for car sightings.  Bentlys Rolls Lambo Bently Ferrari

I don't know any of the model names but it was fun.

Not my photos, but this Kellison occasionally pops up at car shows around town.  Some of the Corvette folks on here might appreciate it.

side view mirrors so you can admire her massive rear fenders...(junk in the trunk)...and probably nothing else that isn't two lanes over

Don’t be so dismissive of a little junk in the trunk. Someone once explained it to me this way: the bigger the cushion, the better the pushin!

Dad just sent this to me. It’s a Runge RS010.

Probably the coolest car on the forum. I can't believe your dad saw one. Simply art.

Cool video below. I believe the guy is from Minnesota.

It's mind boggling that your Dad saw one in person. There's so few of them around. Jay Leno also has a good video on the Runge with the owner. I don't know how that car above can be beat in my opinion. Thousands and thousands of hours being hand built. Super cool to see here on the forum.

@saluki2007- many thanks to your Dad for sending that along.  Obviously a given for this thread once received.
The vision, drive, creativity and skills that are out there and never get the acknowledgment.  Thanks also to @WeberWho for the link.
An excellent learning experience right here.
