OT - my kabob had no shish tonight! - OT
Not trying to sound like a pansy, but tonight our weather was very cold with nasty rain driven with 40mph wind SIDEWAYS and sometimes coming from down to up! I already had shish kabobs planned made with some prime ribeyes from Costco. Rather than to mess up and miss it all I tried something I had never done before. A shish kabob without the skewer and in a cast iron skillet on my stove.
Actually it wasn’t all that bad!

Deconstructed shish kabob? Never-constructed shish kabob? Whatever it is, it looks farkin' good! And must have hit the spot, given the weather.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

As a coon ass, I would’ve served that over rice and called it a home run. Looks outstanding. Great audible

That's exactly how I served it-over a bed of white rice and without much of that liquid that was in the pan picture!___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."
