OT - my kabob had no shish tonight! - OT

Not trying to sound like a pansy, but tonight our weather was very cold with nasty rain driven with 40mph wind SIDEWAYS and sometimes coming from down to up! I already had shish kabobs planned made with some prime ribeyes from Costco. Rather than to mess up and miss it all I tried something I had never done before. A shish kabob without the skewer and in a cast iron skillet on my stove.

Actually it wasn’t all that bad!

Looks like a solid audible, Ron.  I’d hit it.

That looks like a winner and sounds like a wise move.

Audible for the win right there.  Well played.  Congrats on bringing it home.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Deconstructed shish kabob? Never-constructed shish kabob? Whatever it is, it looks farkin' good! And must have hit the spot, given the weather.

As a coon ass, I would’ve served that over rice and called it a home run. Looks outstanding. Great audible

That’s what we have today! I may pull the same audible and cook our ribeye’s and abt’s inside this afternoon. 40+ MPH winds and we’re just getting started. Nice cook, Ron.

That's exactly how I served it-over a bed of white rice and without much of that liquid that was in the pan picture!
