Sean Connery, RIP

What a career!  Sad to see him leave the planet but what a life.  I think I’ll remember him most for Red October and Celebrity Jeopardy.

Sad day.  The swagger and class he portrayed as bond still is amazing to watch.

Also the back and forth between him and Nicholas cage in The Rock about the prom queen is excellent.  Not quoted here so I don’t get booted.

I'm too young for him to be my James Bond. Sorry to say that it's Pierce  Brosnan for me.

Class all the way around.  As noted above, he was James Bond.  Brought the character to life on the big screen and no one else could measure up.
He played one exceptional bad guy submarine captain in HFRO, as well.
    Tough loss.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

  • Yep he was the best Bond in my opinion.  I may have to track down Dr. No to watch tonight.

    By far my favorite Bond.

will say he had another side I don’t love, will leave it at that so as not to speak ill of the dead.

The best Bond of course (tho Craig is a close second) but I think my favorite Connery movie is "Finding Forrester".

Suffice it to say he was quite the misogynist.

I had no idea what that term even meant so I had to look it up. I’m really more confused now!
