    For the life of me I cannot understand why any politician from any party would want to make it more difficult for the post office to do its job.  There are a lot of people who receive prescription medications that way.  Many of these folks are elderly, and they vote in high percentages compared to almost every other demographic.  Pissing them off seems like a galactically stupid calculation, to put it mildly.
