I went back and read through it. From what I could see there was an argument about a touchy subject. You can probably use your imagination and guess what it was.
At any rate, it is a shame that it happened on that particular thread.
The disagreement started on a completely unrelated thread. One of the parties threatened to bring the venomous ramblings over to the WAYDRNT thread. Despite pleas from many to keep the WAYDRNT thread free from the shenanigans that might result in its banishment, the person forged ahead with complete disregard for the feelings of many. There was malice and intent.

Just for the sake of satisfying curiosity, did the unrelated thread get Buffaloed as well?

I only saw the part that spilled over to the WAYDRN thread. I did not see the original argument. The WAYDRN is still on the forum. You can to it and look back a couple of pages and see what caused it to sink.

To be honest I don't even recall what the thread was about, but if @johnnyp says it was nuked I'm sure that is accurate.

I hate to see good threads disappear, so i will add my vote to resurrect this one. I don't post a whole lot, but when I do, I make sure to keep my political and religious views to myself. I really feel that some great people here have caused me to think somewhat less of them by posting disrespectful comments. I am glad to see many of the off topic threads except for the ones that go toxic.

Speaking of off topic, one of the many things I learned here was how to get a better shave (face, no whole body!). Thanks, @SGH. Went from an electric to a Parker Variant, Shark blades, and Cremo shave cream. Only lost a little blood...

It’s unconscionable that one jerk can derail 1000+ pages of input on this website. Doesn’t make you feel too important does it.

I feel bad that @Lit will have to live with these consequences by a whole tribe of BBQ fanatics that now hate him for it.  He is the BGE version of Leroy Jenkins.

Couple people have told me off the forum that they interacted with Lit and he was very impersonal and "cold".  Not my words.  But seems to mesh with actionable house burning because of perceived grievances and demanding an apology where one would never be granted.  Sigh.  Some people love themselves above all else.

I hope ot gets brought back too.  I like the continuity in the thread.  Reminded of of my favorite watering hole.  Someone was always there doing something.  It was also a thread people acted civil, like neighbors.

Glad the trolls even come into this thread.  That is why we cannot have anything nice.

    Two of us remain.

Neither of us wanted the thread killed.

Think what you may of me, I have no problem with it, but @DoubleEgger, Michael, did nothing to instigate the actions, which killed the thread.

I did not respond to anything, on the waydrn? thread.

    FWIW.
