My friggin timing is perfect 0-2. Miss the opening across the pond session (did arrive late) and this one could be truly epic.  Of course, every paragraph and quote in the Atlantic article have made the news rounds many times.
SOSDD (same 'ol $hit, different day).
I continue to fail to understand how there are so many great and talented individuals (on the way in) that served the administration and then transform themselves to dumb and stupid after a period of time and either resign or are fired.  Must be the small hands thing.
Just don't burn down the virtual watering hole!

  • See you guys tonight.  Doors open at 9 Eastern.  I’ll be there and plan on bringing the brown water with me.

I would expect decorum to rule the evening and the virtual watering hole to be intact on Kentucky Derby Day.  Let us know if you play on the third rail of politics tonight and the level of effort expended to not change anybody's opinions or convictions.  He!!- may as well consume oxygen with religion as well.  Strike while the iron is hot!  Stoke the fires!   =)
Perhaps this will give more members incentive to walk in and share a beverage.

  • this might knock his 52 percent approval rating on rasmussen down a bit
That poll is fairly consistently an outlier.

As anticipated, I missed an entertaining and enlightening session and another opportunity to learn things.  Based on the above, it looks like the virtual watering hole survived.  Thanks @JohnInCarolina for hosting and the summary.  Perhaps selective listing as I don't see any third rail topics mentioned.

We had a very brief foray into politics where we talked about some Senators.  It was very civil, and nobody got their feelings hurt.  Funny how it can go that way sometimes.

Since the teacher was out, roll was called and after several queries it was discovered that **** Hertz was not present in spite of being on the attendance list. Or maybe I dreamed that later...
