Installed a Kohler "Cleaning Seat" today to help extend our TP.
Heated water, seat, night light, remote control and a dryer.

Power cord is only 43" long and our GFCI outlet is just barely within reach. Seat does not interfere with the cord.

Have a 3' long industrial 15 amp, 12-gauge extension but the manufacturer warns against using extension chords.

@SamIAm2 nice. Ours is on back order, expect shipping Apr 15-19.
Don't have GFCI outlet nearby. Plan to retrofit one near the floor by tapping into the fan switch above.

I have the same question I did when I got one with my last "user-installed" car stereo: what the hell is the "remote control" for?!?!?

The only bidet I've seen was in Austria, '78, and I was a wet-behind-the-ears, wide-eyed farmboy from South Dakota.  We figured out how the controls worked, and after two marching-band shows (I was on the Ultimate high school band camp) I washed my sweaty feet using it.  It seemed kinda silly.

@Botch - The remote can set seat temp, water temp and pressure, front/back position, pulse+oscillate the wand, deodorizer, six settings for the dryer speed and be stored as a preset for one of two users. Then all I need to do is press Preset 2 and have my settings activated and SWMBO can press Preset 1 and have all her preferred settings activated.

Still need TP on standby though, in case there's a power outage, remote battery dies, or worse, remote accidentally dropped into no man's land, and you're not wearing socks  =)

When can we expect the full, detailed review? Selective pics only, please. 😉

You probably should consider visiting a gastroenterologist if you spend enough time on the toilet to need seat heaters and user presets.

This whole TP thing baffles me to no end.  For us guys it is a good time to rid our drawers of those ole socks and t-shirts.  :)
The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

We’re down to about 70 rolls. Funny “non hoarding” backstory I’ll keep to myself for now.

Sounds more plausibly like a backed-up story.

6 rolls. I've come to be pretty efficient with my wipes. I used to wipe with wads of TP. Not giving a **** how much I used. This has all changed. I'm typically using 9-12 squares to wipe my ass after a ****. My office has a bidet...I use it as often as I can.

  • I received and installed a bidet attachment to the royal throne a couple days ago.

As you can see, this cold water unit adds a little jump to the morning constitutional.  So far, it works as advertised and we kinda like it.  I bet it’s worth every penny we spent on it the day after eating some spicy food.

@SamIAm2 - can you exchange it for the left handed model?  Then the cables wouldn't cross over the tank!
