I'm in, flying in th Charlette on Wednesday
This pending John doesn't invoke  the virus postponement or cancellation.
It won't be me that cancels anything.  My own view is that there's no virus a couple of bourbon slushies can't kill.
I doubt it would even take a couple.

You have plans for Wed / Thursday?
Just to find a good dive bar ...havent even booked rooms other than the cabin
Seagrove is close by and a cool area to visit. Largest potters community in the country. Amazing stuff very reasonably priced.
I wouldn’t mind hitting Seagrove on Friday, I’ve been looking for some bowls.
    Love you bro!

Pattie and I plan to be there....unless of course daughter is in labor with first grandchild. If that is the case, make your own damn Bloody Mary's.

Congratulations. I bet Pattie is tickled to bits about becoming a Grandma.

Would it be considered poor form if we lined up outside the hospital, with  our cups in hand?
Rest easy......Talked to my daughter last night. They (doctors) are leaning towards the following week to induce. I think we will all be OK. I have started procuring the ingredients already. I do need to be a bit more discrete with the disposal this year. I do wish to avoid an early ejection. That said, anyone seen @SandyHookEgger ? I hear he is in the shopping center business now.

Not cancelled - we are just not holding them in person.  Everything is being done online.

So how does the big dance work for the basketball team? Virtual Reality?

It’s a fair question Robin.  I think they’ll either postpone the tournament or simply hold the games without spectators.

The March Basho currently underway at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium in Japan is being held without any spectators. I would expect similar responses to large venue gatherings to occur here to help slow the spread of the virus.

I'll be there.  I will practice my last cook tomorrow before I feed it to "people" in April.

@Legume - we tooled around Seagrove for a couple of hours last year, and enjoyed it. The pottery and artists were the highlight of caliqueen's day, as she used to learn pottery a while back.

I, on the other hand, almost had to do CPR when we stopped for lunch. On a diabetic woman who did a faceplant in her soup.

This isn't exactly a dive bar, but it is a nice day trip.   It's maybe 30 mins from the park.

Robin, it was a premature ejection leaving me unsatisfied!
