@YukonRon, unless they put the students in the best seats in Rupp (I don't think they do), I'm going to have a hard time accepting what you postulate.

    @Foghorn,

Our students spend more time doing research providing a meaningful existence for all mankind of this planet.

Scholarly endeavors must never be interrupted, however the seats allotted are free, and just one of the several sections provided for students, likely would fill most arenas.

UK is a University for Kentucky not just the University of Kentucky. Far more people in the United States follow UK much more avid and passionately than the 4 year undergrads at Duke.

That is why Cameron is so small and Duke will forever be our little brother.

    🙂

I've been to Hinkle Fieldhouse, and that's a cool place to walk thru.  I haven't been there during a game and doubt it rates like some other places.

I'm not sure that binge-watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" has quite the social impact that you think it does, Ron.

As for Cameron, there's a good reason the Duke-Carolina game at Cameron is widely considered one of the hardest tickets to obtain in all of sports.  Not just college basketball, not just basketball... all of sports.  Just an ACC game in Cameron is on the bucket list for a lot of people, even casual sports fans.

But I'm sure Rupp arena has its charm too, even though you're the only person I've ever heard talk about it.

It may be a great sporting venue, however, Rupp Arena, sets the bar for every other basketball facility in college sports.

Once you visit the House That Rupp Built, then you will know what a great venue should actually be.

    You are welcome.
This is the same team that lost to Evansville this year right? Only thing Kentucky is hanging this year is 9 losses.

Harder to get than a Masters ticket? That’s a tough ticket.

I don’t know if it’s more difficult to get than a ticket to the Masters.  But it’s in the ballpark.

They routinely scalp for north of a couple grand a ticket the night of the game. There’s only like 9k seats in the stadium.

Nobody ever seriously tries to predict the outcome of this game, regardless of where it is or the records of the two teams coming in.  It is always a slugfest and historically a toss up.

Hoping for a good game- UNC is on a roll lately but, Cameron is a tough place to play.

Enjoy the game boys- one of the toughest tickets in all of sports.

I don't remember Duke being ranked this low (#12) this late in the season in a long time. I also don't remember seeing UNC unranked this late in the season

Never a doubt in the rematch but the NCAA dance will definitely be a crap-shoot.  The most wide open I can recall in many years.
This one is truly "better to be lucky than good" although Kansas will be the betting favourite and likely Gonzaga second choice.  Fortunately tournament championship games ahead that may shed some insights but any investments this year are truly throw-away bets.  But skin in the game for the entertainment value alone.  Go..... I thought 20, at home against an unusually  weak opponent. I know Duke did the best they could.

Just a word for the future, The Admiral never beat UK. Nor will his son.

Congrats on a very big win, John. First time I have ever watched this game for 5 mins and it actually held my interest.

    Just kidding.....

Congrats to both. Hard season for everyone.

I promise not to brag when we hang #9 this year at BB.

Just wanted to add, thus far we have collected $59.38 for the charity via donations from those that have ordered BB20 wearables.

Thanks to all that were so kind to contribute.

We have also had 12 shirts donated for the raffle.

Very kind gestures from our BGE forum members.

Looking forward to see you there.
