Why did it take the Titans 3 years to figure out Derrick Henry is good?XL & MM BGE, 36" Blackstone - Newport News, VA

I'm watching, what other sports this time of year for a UNC fan?

Resting starters in week 17 is always questionable. Rust can develop after three weeks.

There are probably some pretty happy people down in the city that had TN + 9.5.Las Vegas, NV

Well, I don’t think we were outmatched, nor were we overated. Too many mistakes - maybe the first one was sitting starters in week 17. This team was not ready to play, and the Titans were ready. Titans deserved the win - congratulations!
This is gonna hurt for a while. Goodnight.Maryland, 1 LBGE -
Lamar Jackson will be one of the best one day.
This game: three turnovers on downs, two interceptions, and a fumble, he was not playing at the level he displayed the latter part of the season.
Add to his woes the dropped passes and sacks, they just performed poorly.
His play practically put the Titans in the driver's seat for all 4 of their scores.

It’s good to finally see tannehill reach his potential. I’m not saying he’s a great qb at all, but he’s a solid game manager. DH looks like the next Marshawn Lynch.

@YukonRon correct on all points. Here’s a pretty good article that attempts to capture the feeling here. I’m not suggesting that there’s anything unique about our disappointment, but it feels like we’ve spent our lives as underdogs, and then finally, it’s our turn, it’s our team that everyone is talking about, it’s our guy whose jersey everyone is wearing. We earn home field advantage through the playoffs - the city is united - everyone is wearing purple - there’s the promise of weeks of fun - then boom! It’s gone.Maryland, 1 LBGE

I'm not a Ravens fan at all, but I did really like this team and think Lamar Jackson has been a very fun player to watch for most of this season. I started to watch Ravens games just because of him, which is not something I remember doing for another team in recent history. So I'm actually a little disappointed we'll have to wait another year to see more of that.
But hats off to the Titans and Mike Vrabel. They came in with a game plan and they executed, and they've done it two weeks in a row. I don't think they'll be taken for granted in the rest of the playoffs. They look like the team to beat right now."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I just do not buy in to the whole layoff/rust thing.
Tough to rationalize when you are set up with the best of the best.
I think it had to do with over confidence. The Titans are for real. They have a great coach that had his team ready to play 2 great teams back to back, and they made both teams look foolish on both sides of the ball.
I did not see it coming from the beggining of the year, but as the season rolled along things started to fall in place.
I do know that Lamar does get very frustrated when things are not going well, from his days at Louisville, and when you are able to upset his game early, you got him.
It is as if whenever he absolutely has to make the game happen, instead of letting his talents just flow, you get what we saw last night. Too much thinking had his game way off.
Sad way to end on such high expectations.

Best team rarely wins the Super Bowl. That’s what makes it interesting.
