OT - 42" of rain?!?!?

Call out to our Eggers in the Houston/Corpus Christie/SE Texas areas.  OMG, CBS is reporting over 42" of rain in some spots, with another 12" tonight?!?  And Houston proper is so highly paved, there's nowhere for the water to go.  Hope everyone here on the forum is safe, or have an exit.  
 
Time magazine, last week, dedicated their entire issue to global warming, and included a stunning article about the flooding vulnerability of the entire central US, and how the huge levee system there is badly obsolete/outgunned; highly-recommended reading.
