Could we be overthinking this? Its a burger... once you add in toppings/condiments, does it really make that much of a difference? I dunno...

In my own experience, a good bun really elevates a burger. Homemade bun instead of the squishy store stuff. And pimento cheese, instead of regular cheese, for the win.
LOL - bet you are correct! At this point I can't return that bottle...so how should dispose of it instead of using in burgers?
I use it when making Chinese dishes, and some time add it to Indian dishes. Just a little, maybe 1-2 tsp.

Try it the next time you make chili. Or even your Georgia Red Wings.

I put some fish sauce in my Neti Pot.  it activated the expression for that vestigial gene that allows us to grow gills.  I don't know why I feel this could be beneficial at some point, but I do.  What could go wrong?

if your supermarket has frozen pot stickers, make this dipping sauce. the lime leaves are not needed

Thank you for sharing!  We make potstickers often:

1/4 cup each lime juice and fish sauce,2.5 tbls sugar, 2 tsp rice wine vinegar,4 keiffer lime leaves finely chpped, 1 habenero finely chopped seads and all, 4 cloves garlic, chopped cilantro, some soy for color. i also marinaded the syeaks with most of those ingrediants leaving out the leaves and habanero.

Just made four Traeger loads of jerky, tried different recipes including this Red Wine & Fish Sauce one. Simple three ingredients and tastes decent, still prefer the soy sauce based recipes though.

Damn straight!  It’s obviously un-American, you can tell by the bottles it’s not made by people like us.  It gave me the sh*ts when I tried it, swaddle yourself before you go to bed, you’ve been warned.

Try beer cheese. I agree with you on this.

Using fish sauce , a little goes a long way. And that’s an understatement. We use it a ton in many many recipes. If you have never used it before, you will screw up several dishes before you come to appreciate just how little you need. And you may never get to appreciate just what it adds to the flavor of many foods if you give up on it after your screw up.
