Annual fishing crew dinner - all courses inspired by this forum
Sea2Ski
Posts: 4,088
Every year I have our fishing crew over for dinner. Today was this years meal. As you will see, the menu was entirely influenced by all things on this forum. As many things as I could make was made from scratch: the sausages required in the “best appetizer ever”, the bacon on the salad, the charcuterie meats, pickled peppers, grilled tomatoes, bread etc...
But enough, I will let the pictures do the talking.
We did a lot of talking, decided to change up our game this year, and we are overhauling our approach. If our plans come together, we will have a great year and catch more fish. But damn, those fish are smart!!! That is alright, dumb ones taste as good as the smart ones.

Thanks guys!
@nolaegghead thank you for recognizing that. I really am loving the charcuterie making. Love it. Talk about delayed gratification. Remember the lamb prosciutto? They are almost ready.

First thing I did was the duck breast prosciutto. I need to try that again, first batch was too salty. Let me know how the lamb works out. I just prepped a 5 pound lamb leg tonight for kabobs tomorrow. Soaking in a bag of Blendtec'd fresh pineapple and spices. I swear you could spend all day cleaning up the silver skin.______________________________________________I love lamp..
