  • Whew.  Thank goodness.  I didn't look at the sale price at first and I couldn't believe you paid $5/lb.  But at $1.97/lb, that's a steal :)

I wouldn't have let it sit there either. Even though i have zero room in my freezers right now. I would have figured something out! 99 cent butts coming up this weekend in town. I need to cook a ton this week to make room...

I’ve made far more costly “unplanned purchases” as a result of this forum.  Enjoy D!

  • “Unplanned purchases” are kind of like “unplanned pregnancies”, in that they tend to happen in the throes of passion. One is however, much costlier than the other.

Me too. I'd be tempted to buy new apron to wear and buy that.

I'm guessing @SGH probably has a grinding apron.
    And grinding overalls also.
I'm not sure what the protocol is for choosing when to use one over the other.

Better to be lucky than good any day.  Great score right there.  Well-played.

I have a set of assless chaps I had made to honor my great grandfather.  He wore a set just like them when he worked a glory hole at exit 22 on the New Jersey Turnpike.
