The Ohio/Michigan border is like the mason/dixon. We will defend at all costs.

Michigan and their fans (of which I am one) were reminded that they are still a second tier team.  Still don't have the athletes and coaching to compete at the playoff level.

Yesterday I told my whole family “Michigan by at LEAST 20.  I’m calling it.”   Holy cow, I was wrong.

Bucky laid the wood to them. Then Minnesota thumped Wisconsin.

Now USC is up on Notre Dame?   College sports are wacky.  I love it.

@SaltySam that’s why we play the game.   You never know what’s going to happen.

Since I'm here-go USC.  Notre Dame loss would be great.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Since Michigan shat the bed, ugag is gonna be on the 4.  Now they’re destined to lose to Bama at least once.

We ate at Fricker's in Findlay, returning from the in-laws.  ;-)
The bucks kicked arse, and the fans there were outstanding.
  • That was a lot of fun for Buckeye fans.  I grew up through the Cooper years and wow have the Tressel and Meyer years been great!

Better chance than not the Dawgs get their azzez handed to em by Bama. They're a deeply talented team.

For a while it looked like USC might beat them.

Had to turn in at 2230 last night.  Y'all still had a couple more hours of ball after that.

    Wish LSU would've won.

A&M is right up there with my least favorite teams, fans, and programs in the country.

    Meyer years been great!
Not if you are Courtney Smith...

"Did I turn my back to domestic violence? Not one bit," Meyer said. "I erred in going too far to try to help a guy with work-related issues."

    Pure class from OSU leadership...

“According to the Ohio State investigation report, Meyer and associate athletic director Brian Voltolini met Aug. 1 -- the day Meyer was placed on administrative leave in the wake of the Stadium article -- and discussed how to delete text messages on his phone. They reportedly "specifically discussed how to adjust the settings on Meyer's phone so that text messages older than one year would be deleted."”

At the end of the day it’s a game and one would hope they could look themselves in the mirror with pride. It’s shame. At least it should be. To be fair, they aren’t alone, they were just exposed.

You are right Pete. Sadly, there is no shame in Buckeye land. Anything for a win. Anything to keep the financial machine running.

It’s interesting. I moved to Columbus from Maine and had no idea what kind of situation this was. Being from a very small town with little or no connection to any serious college sports except hockey I didn’t realize that OSU literally called all the shots and essentially is the controlling interest for Columbus. In my first year I would say things like “I could care less who wins”. WOW—you talk about strange looks. People would literally distance themselves physically, less what I was afflicted with was catching. The OSU machine is serious business and any threat to it is stomped on very quickly. After 16 years I cheer and smile and have learned to take pride in the hometown team. However I am still not from Columbus OH. I am from Maine, and am simply living here until further notice.
