1st attempt on the new pizza oven. Gonna take some practice but I think once I get the hang of it I’m gonna really enjoy it. Gonna try something other than pizza soon. Don’t want this thing to be a one hit wonder.

Made meatballs out of the leftover lahmacun mix, then crumbled them over the top. Drizzled with hot honey.

I used some A5 Wagyu beef and lamb gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, parsley and feta cheese on a new 96-hour sourdough recipe to make this pizza. Also had to revive a log of fresh mozzarella that had inadvertently become frozen by emulsifying it with heavy cream and a bit of cheddar and American cheese. Pretty tasty.

Quick pics of the last pizza I made using 120 hour sourdough and the thinly sliced remnants from the Wagyu and veggie kabob cook.

The above are my last 2 pizzas. Both were pulled pork (from the egg) but I used a slaw sauce from a local BBQ joint in Gaston county NC as the base. This is hands down my best pizza!👍😁NC - LBGE

Recently was able to get a solid sourdough starter going and really wanting to play around with sourdough pizza crust.
The only crust I have experience with is forkish Saturday same day dough (which I really enjoy btw).
Looking for any and all recommendations on how to proceed. Thanks!!

New creation... really turned out. Smoked barbecue chicken, pepper jack cheese, red onion, banana peppers, tzatziki sauce. The tzatziki was from another dinner a few nights ago but added a creamy, garlicky counterpoint to the spicy pie. I will be revisiting this one for sure!

Playing around with my new breville toy. Not as good as the roccbox but still really solid considering how silly easy it was.
Sourdough crust, egg smoked sausage, fermented garlic paste, habanero cheese, Bbq sauce, and topped with green onion and grated cured egg yolk.

Decided to make pies inside tonight. Cast iron (pepperoni underneath) and a pesto pie with fresh mozz. Simple is better in my opinion.
