Today The Man In The Brown Shorts™ brought me my Black Friday gift to myself, an obscenely-expensive flashlight used for nighttime-photography "light painting":

This thing uses a couple weird batteries that I've never seen before, shaped like AAA or AA batts but larger, 7.4v, and both the pos and neg ends are flush-mounted; weird.“I'll have what she's having."

Lumen ouptut isn't that high but I guess it's more that you can vary the color output to suit your need. Can you vary the width of the beam (spot to flood)?The 18650 batteries (each battery is 3.8ish volts) it uses are pretty common in higher output flashlights. I've got a couple portable radios that also use them (which I much prefer over AA's).
